Khao Soy Dinner & Night Bazaar

This evening we enjoy a traditional dish at Just Khao Soy, a fine dining restaurant and arts & crafts gallery concept that specializes in Northern Thailand’s popular noodle-based curry dish “Khao Soy”, supported by a range of ‘Thai Tapas’. The dish “Khao Soy” had until quite recently been considered ‘street food’, Through its beautiful presentation, high standard of service, and the use of nutritious ingredients, Just Khao Soy has elevated the meal to its rightful place as the ‘signature dish of northern Thai cuisine’. The restaurant, located just 200m from the Night Bazaar and that’s where we will be exploring a little later.

Lamphun & Lampang

We travel south to Lamphun to visit Wat Phrathat Hariphunchai whith its 51 meter high gilded Chedi.  Proceed further to Lampang to visit the  teakwood temple of Wat Phratat Lampang Luang.   Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant.  After lunch visit Wat Sri Rong Mueng and as Lampang is known as the “Horse Cart city”, of course you will enjoy a ride in a horse cart to visit Wat Phra Kaew Don Tao before returning to Chiang Mai.

Lamphun & Wat Phrathat Hariphunchai

The town of Lamphun is located to the south of Chiang Mai. After pick up from your hotel, you will visit the  temple Wat Phratat Hariphunchai with its 51 m. high gilded Chedi. Afterwards continue to the White Karen, a hill tribe that originated in Burma. Here you will learn interesting facts about some of the ethnic minorities in Thailand, before returning to your hotel.
