After pick up from your hotel, your first stop will be at the animal sanctuary project of H.M. The Queen. Animals that have been mistreated or were saved from illegal export are nurtured and rehabilitated here, with the goal to get them back to their natural environment. Continue to Marukhathaiyawan palace (the Palace of love & hope), built by King Rama VI completely from teak- wood, to serve as a summer residence during the 1920′s. Our last stop will be at Monkey Mountain, south of Hua Hin. Wild monkeys live in this area around the Buddhist temple, from which you have a magnificent view of the area. After this pleasant final, return to your hotel in Hua Hin or Cha Am.
Today’s trip takes you to the Ratchaburi Province. You will meet a farmer, who will show you how to make palm sugar and cruise along scenic canals, where you can discover everyday life while flaoting past houses, gardens and fruit plantations. At the Floating Market itself, numerous photo opportunities await you, when vendors paddle up and down the canals to sell fruit, food, vegetables and everyday goods in their small boats. Next up is the visit to Phra Prathom Chedi, the largest Buddhist pagoda in Thailand. Lunch will be served at the Rose Garden Country Resort and will be followed by a Thai cultural show, which included Thai Boxing, traditional dances and ceremonies, as well as an elephant show.
