The Ancient City is a Mini-Thailand, a big open air museum east of Bangkok. In this project, surrounded by waterways and gardens, all major monuments ranging from one third of original to actual size have been reconstructed.
Ayuthaya is one of Thailand’s historical and majestic highlights, serving as the Thai capital for 417 years (1350 – 1767), it was once glorified as one of the biggest cities in the world – a Southeast Asia center for civilizations.
