ITINERARY
Day 1, Arrive Bangkok (-)
Meet & Greet at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport and transfer to your hotel downtown for check-in & overnight accommodation.
Day 2, Bangkok - Cha Am (B)
Morning tour of the Grand Palace & Wat Phra Keo, one of the most beautiful examples of ancient Siamese court. Home of the Kings of Siam of the Chakri Dynasty, originally built by King Rama I, it served as the royal residence until 1946. Today the palace is still used on certain occasions for visiting royalty or special guests of the Kingdom. Adjoining the Grand Palace you will find the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Keo), this is probably the best known of the royal temples. It is regarded as the most important temple in all Thailand and it is the venue of many of the numerous religious ceremonies in which the King participates, especially at the beginning of each of the three seasons when His Majesty personally changes the elaborate robes of the Buddha image, carved out of a single piece of emerald-green jasper.
Return to the hotel to check-out and transfer to Cha Am beach resort.
Day 3, Cha Am (B)
Golf at Springfield Country Club
The Jack Nicklaus designed 18-hole Springfield Country Club of Cha Am. Opened in 1993, this intriguing course will provide a challenge for golfers of all standards as they thread their way through well-placed hazards to greens of the highest standard. Accuracy is required at all times as the fairways are flanked by a series of hillocks and covered by a forest of small trees.
Day 4, Cha Am (B)
Free day at leisure for optional tours, or exploring the town on your own, the hotel is on located on the beach and you could actually walk to town on the beach if the tide is out.
Day 5, Cha Am (B)
Golf at Palm Hills Country Club
Set against a beautiful backdrop of Petchaburi's mountain range and some amazing views of the Gulf of Thailand, the Palm Hills Golf Resort and Country Club is approximately two and a half-hours drive from Bangkok on the way to Hua Hin via route 4 from Cha-am. Separated by a rocky outcrop that extends from the mountain range, the course runs from east to west with lakes at each end and incorporates fast greens with some tricky borrows. The clubhouse fits well with surroundings. It, too is stunningly beautiful.
Day 6, Cha Am (B)
Golf at Banyan Golf Club
Built among a pineapple plantation, Banyan Golf Club in Hua Hin opened in October 2008. The course provides for spectacular mountain and ocean views from most all of the holes and is one of the best layouts in the area. Banyan Golf Club won the 2009 Best New Golf Course in Asia as voted for by the readers of Asian Golf Monthly.
Day 7, Cha Am - Bangkok (B)
Late morning transfer from your hotel to Bangkok, arriving in Bangkok in the afternoon.
Day 8, Depart Bangkok (B)
Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to Bangkok Airport.
